Frederic Lepage

Frederic Lepage is writer and producer of several hundreds of TV shows and documentaries. His first feature film, Sunny and the Elephant, was released in France in december 2008.

Career

Literary career

Frederic Lepage has written books that have gained worldwide acclaim, such as The End of the Seventh Day,[1] and Hidden Memory.[2] Both were published in several countries, including France, Germany, Japan or Greece. He has also written several essays on diverse topics from science (Les Jumeaux : Enquête) to gastronomy (A Table avec Chirac[3]), via an anthology of the most beautiful prayers in the world.[4]

In 2008, he created a series of children's novels. Two volumes have already been published, Elephant Camp and La Malediction de Mara,[5] with the third one coming out in October 2009. The series, "Micah et les voix de la jungle" will become a TV series in 2011.

His novel Le colloque des bonobos  was released in march 2011. It is inspired from his first play of the same name, which should be played in France in 2013.

Frédéric Lepage lives in Paris and Bangkok.

Frederic Lepage has become an expert of China and South-East Asia civilization. He is a member of the Siam Society
